I've got a small piece of news this morning and it pertains to Kid Icarus: Uprising. Masahiro Sakurai has told ONM that Kid Icarus: Uprising will have support for Nintendo's 3DS Circle Pad Pro attachment; however, the attachment is being used to accommodate left handed players. Adding the Circle Pad Pro to the Nintendo 3DS will allow left handed gamers to play Kid Icarus: Uprising more comfortably with the stylus in the left hand and the right hand holding the device. It basically mirrors the current setup.

I saw the title and immediately wondered what the implications would be. I will likely pick the Circle Pad Pro up at some point - I can see where it will be quite handy if games account for it well (really, it should have been there in the first place probably). Good tidbit - I hadn't seen that yet.
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm not left handed, I am glad that Nintendo included this option. I've read many previews that were worried that the game wouldn't include a control scheme that would accommodate left handed persons.
