Nintendo not only confirmed the existence of a new Super Mario Bros. game, but they also confirmed that the Wii U will be released between E3 and the end of 2012; specifically right in time for the year end sales season. In fact, North America, Europe and Japan will get the new console this year. Nintendo will showcase the console it is final form at this year's E3 2012 event and went on to state that they are working hard to have sufficient sofware developed so that the console can be at its best during the launch period.
