Ubisoft Announces Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth for Wii U


Ubisoft announced on Twitter today that Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will be released on the Wii U after the console launches later this year. Battle for Earth will not be based on the movie, instead it will be based on the Secret Invasion comic series and will feature Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk fending off an invasion of Skrull aliens. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will feature motion controls, presumably through the Wii U's capability to use the Wii Remote, and 20 other characters from the Marvel universe.

    1. I am a little worried because it's for Kinect as well, hopefully we see it soon!

    1. From what I gather, it will likely be a port of a game made for the Kinect, so chances are it will replace a crappy Kinect concept with poorly implemented Wii controls.
